A bit breezy in Goldsboro

Well, just an early little note from Goldsboro. Starting to get breezy here. Far from windy, but breezy. I'll be taking in my trash and recycling bins around lunch and then going to my mom's, also in Goldsboro, to put anything loose she has inside. Just some minor preparations. Will try to keep everyone updated on Goldsboro throughout the day – maybe every 2-3 hours through the afternoon, more often when things pick up a bit.

As of 4:40 pm there has been .70" of rain at my location in Goldsboro. Just had a heavy rain band with gusts 25-30 mph. Still a steady light rain, sustained winds around only 10 mph so far.

Hey, I enjoy this stuff. I was here for Fran and Floyd and am a Skywarn Spotter, I may have mentioned that already. Unfortunately, just before the rain started here at 11:30, I found a little puddle of water in my back yard..water leak..so if I can find a plumber to come out today (yeah, right) I may be out with them some. Otherwise I had to cut off the water to my house..fun fun..but such is life..will do my best to keep people updated on Goldsboro. Just .25" of rain so far and still just a slight breeze as of 1:30 pm

I will be keeping tabs on your posts.My parents and my daughter live in Grantham and my son and daughter in law live in Rosewood.I live north of Raleigh and it will be good to keep tabs on the situation in Wayne county without calling them every few hours.Thanks
