Ask the Meteorologists

I live in Fremont, Wayne County, Why is Wayne not included in the Dual Doppler weather maps? I can pick up some of Wayne in the Johnston County map, but not all of it.
MIKE MOSS SAYS: Darron, As you mention, a good portion of Wayne County can be seen in the radar zoom images for Johnston County, Sampson County and Nash County, as well as the entire county using the wider central NC view. However, we agree that a full view of Wayne County should be available in one of the zoomed images, and our web staff and producers are working on implementing an update to the zooms that will accomplish this. For now, I do not have an implementation date to pass along, but I doubt it will be very far in the future.
