Friday
Variably cloudy, windy and warm with a chance for afternoon thunderstorms. Highs in the lower-mid 80s. We have clouds and light rain in the area this morning. We will see the light rain tapering off during the morning commute and should see growing sunshine towards lunchtime. A cold front moves into the area this afternoon. With the heating of the day, the high moisture levels in the lower atmosphere and the cold front, we should see thunderstorms develop after noontime. East of I-95 these could become strong or severe. The main threat would be from damaging wind gusts. Once the front passes early this evening, we should see clearing skies, the humidity will drop and it will be cooler tonight.
Wind: SW, 10-20 mph.
Saturday
