Formosa, Argentina — Ravenscroft rising senior Ryan Kelly scored nine points and pulled down four rebounds for the USA Basketball Men's U18 National Team in a 106-64 win over Puerto Rico on Wednesday, July 16 in the FIBA Americas U18 Championship in Formosa, Argentina.
Team USA is now 3-0 in Group B and advances to the championship bracket of the tournament. Their opponent in the tournament semifinals will be determined pending the results of the Argentina (2-0) vs. Canada (2-0) game on Wednesday night. The semifinals will be played on Thursday, July 17.
Kelly, a 6-10 power forward, has started all three games for Team USA and is averaging 9.3 points and 7 rebounds per outing.
