Weather
Ask the Meteorologists : I keep seeing all of the water use information, etc., but nowhere has anyone addressed how much water is used for tub baths which is how I bathe. Would appreciate some idea of what the average might be.Ask the Meteorologists : My son is doing a project on the moon, stars, and sun. he has had to record the shape of the moon since dec.10th and around the holidays that went out the window. i wanted to know if there was a website or other source to find out what the moon looked like during the month of dec. to present. i want to verify that his recordings have been accurate for the project.
Ask the Meteorologists : Using the almanac data from your website, in 2007 we received 83% of our average rainfall. In 2006, we received 125% of average. Going back another three years, we are still over the average. Looking at the Lake Level data, only Falls Lake is way below normal. Seems to me like Raleigh is simply using (or selling) too much water. Can you please comment on this? I don't understand why 83% of normal rainfall is an "exceptional" drought. Even before recent rains, we had received more than 75% of average. Thanks!!
