Raleigh, N.C. — A car struck a support column for a bridge over the 400 block of Capital Boulevard Friday night, Raleigh police said.
The single-vehicle wreck occurred at Capital and McDowell Street around 8 p.m., officers said.
The driver, whose name has not been released, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Police had not decided whether to charge the driver.
Police said that the bridge did not sustain any major structural damage.
