Site SearchFour Oaks, N.C. — Eight people were injured in a single-vehicle crash southeast of Four Oaks on Saturday afternoon.
Eleven people were in the vehicle, which crashed at Webb Mill & Stewart roads around 1 p.m., officials said.
Three people were pinned by the vehicle, and a female victim had to be airlifted from the scene. Other wreck victims, including children, were taken by ambulance to local hospitals.
The driver has been charged with driving while impaired.
State troopers continued to work the scene of the wreck, details of which were still emerging.
