Marquan Leon Williams Browder

Police said on Saturday afternoon that they had located a 9-year-old boy who was reported missing late Friday.

Officers said Marquan Leon Williams Browder was found in the Dearborn Drive area, about two miles from a home at 1835 Cheek Road where he had last been seen.

Marquan was reunited with his family around 11:20 p.m. He appeared to be unharmed and in good health, police said.

Family members said Marquan walked away from Cheek Road home around 8:30 p.m. Friday. They reported him as missing around 10 p.m.

Police said Marquan had run away and had made it to a safe location overnight. They did not provide any more details about where Marquan was or who he was with.
