Fifi Investigates | Dixie and Mr. Peabody

Aww ... would you look at this week's Pet Photo winners, Dixie and Mr. Peabody.

Five and a half year old Boxer, Dixie, and two month old Mr. Peabody, a fluffy Tabby, are pleasant reminders in this political season that we're all more alike if we'd stop barking and meowing long enough to listen to each other.

Miss Fifi enjoyed talking to Shayne and Tosha Aldridge, Dixie and Mr. Peabody's humans. "We got Dixie as a puppy," they said, smiling fondly. "She loves playing with our three girls, and she loves the water."

Mr. Peabody had a more dramatic entrance to the family's lives, as he was abandoned in a dumpster. "Our neighbor brought Mr. Peabody to us when he was about one and a half weeks old. He loves playing with Dixie, our other cat Midnight, and Elvis, our Bloodhound. He even runs from our two guinea pigs." That had us all laughing.

What a menagerie the Aldridge's have, both of the two legged and four legged variety. It's bound to busy at their house in Rocky Mount, and I bet it's never boring.
