McCain's reaction did seem a bit odd until I did a little research into the background of Spain's prime minister.
Prime Minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero is the leader of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party whose objective is to achieve socialism based on the principles of Marxism.
He opposed the war in Iraq and withdrew 1300 Spanish troops in 2004 after he assumed the office of prime minister.
I guess he's not one of McCain's favorite people but Obama will love him.
