This picture made me think about what it's like to spend the holidays away from home. My Dad was in the military so we had many holidays when we couldn't make it to my grandparents, but we still had a blessed day.
My favorite memories are when we were stationed in Germany. One year we went to a ski resort for the holidays. It was so much fun, but most likely a real nightmare for my poor mother who had to cart everyones gifts along with us.
To all those who can not be "HOME" for the holidays, I wish you extra joy, peace and love this holiday season. Take CHRISTMAS with you wherever you go.
