Thanks everyone for reading the long story about my first fair trip which could probably use some editing. For me it is fun to look back and laugh at myself. I have a vivid memory for details and my family calls me the family historian because of that.

I wanted to get it out before the fair comes and goes and I may post it again fair week. I love to go the fair, but will not ride anything beyond the Ferris wheel. I always stop by the Enterprise and reminisce about that wild ride from the past.

i didnt know this group was here. lol. glad to see it. i have wanted to write a book for several years now and i dont know what to write about....seems to always come back to my mom though. she had an interesting life. who knows.....

Well, I can't officially claim to be a writer, although I have written a present day Christmas Play, back in 2005, and a drama group I started (Revelation Drama Ministry)has performed it 3 years running. It's about an hour long. I would like this year to take it to a local church (within 30 miles of Raleigh or less), cast the roles with your church members, and direct it. It would play best to prodestant churches (Baptist, Methodist, etc.)with congregations between 75-200. Minimal stage needed, I furnish props. Present day setting, so costumes not needed. If you know anyone who's church may be beginning a drama ministry and wants this made available, let me know. There is no cost for this ministry. Contact Lane at 625-1527.

I'm not a writer, but a dear friend of mine is and she has published one book and is on her way to publishing her second. Her current book is called Souvenir -- I loved and and it has gotten awesome reviews. -- she has a great blog full of other creative writers -- you guys might enjoy reading or participating in as well. theresefowler.blogspot.com

Wow - Everyone has been busy.. Great job!!! I am getting through the new ones now, was a little under the weather. Well a lot under the weather. I have no voice, but that won't keep me from typing :)

I am really proud of the great work people are putting out here!!

ryoung, yes, my stories have taken on many directions. Some very dark, some very erotic, I dont know the limits to posting here so Im using my really safe stuff,lolgreat writing btw robert
