Welcome to "I love my pet"!  This is a place we can pay tribute to those loyal friends that have gone to the Rainbow Bridge, brag about those that are still with us, and share stories about the funny things they do.  basically, we can talk about any and everything we want to when it comes to these beloved creatures that are loyal even when we punish them.

Hello everyone, I am joining today and glad to see an animal lover's group. I have always felt closer to an animal than a perosn, don't know why. Don't get me wrong, I love my friends, but animals are my passion! Good to be here.

I took Hillary, Bill and Chelsea to get spayed last week and now the girls are in the house for this week. Hopefully their stitches will come out this Saturday. These are the last of my females to get the 'spa' treatment. I love my felines, but, I just can't have anymore heartbreaks when things happen to them.

I'll try once more...new to this blogging stuff. Just joining your group today . My passion and love for animals is truly part of my soul's purpose for being here at this time. Currently my fiancee and I live with 3 dogs, 7 birds, 2 barn cats and 1 bedroom/bathroom kitty. 2 of our birds talk so there's never a dull moment ! familyfour - my vet is who recommended Ascriptin and actually that was over 20 years ago with my mutt, Patches. He was more of a "street" dog (cause there wasn't all the traffic back then). He had torn ligaments in his hind legs (not both at once but a good year or two between) and had to have surgery. That made him a little arthritic and that's when the vet told me to use Ascriptin when the pain flared up. Roscoe was too big and old for me to put him through surgery so we kept him comfortable on it for the last years of his life. After having the same vet for more than 25 years, I'm like you and trusted everything he said and glad I did. There are other coated aspirins but I stuck with what seems to have worked.
