It can be quite a bit of work too. Even the teachers say there is more to online classes than regular ones. But you pretty much work on your own schedule.
As far as I know U of Phoenix is expense and you can't get grants for those types of schools. Does anyone know if that is true?
I do know that I have gone to 2 different community colleges taking online courses and at one I spent a lot of time at the school and that was a pain.

I tried U. of Phoenix a few years back. Their "independent study" classes required conference calls and group projects. That's a fresh definition of the concept of "independent".

But,,,I picked my class by going through the catalog and putting in numbers into the STAR system...it would tell me "class is full" so I moved onto the next one that I had yet to take until I found one that was not full...lol
Only took me 5 tries
So I'm taking Children With Exceptionalities,,,should be interesting
