I recognize that I was totally on edge Friday. I did not think that you were accusing me of having had an abortion. I reacted so strongly because abortion is against my personal beliefs. However, I understand that what applies to me may not work for the masses. That is the way that I structure my life and I felt like you were attacking my parenting. It's water under the bridge now anyway. I appreciate your explanation.

Good Tuesday morning to you GetRight! I dont mind agreeing to disagree. It keeps everything civil. You cant learn anything from anyone that you are trying to belittle and argue with. I dont want to do that. I dont claim to be a genious or all knowing, I am open to learning new things and trying to understand someone elses perspective. That is truly the only way one can grow, now isnt it? I am still learning and growing and it is a daily process. Arguing is fruitless and it wastes time. People who have nothing but time are free to argue about, but I dont. Thanks for engaging me and keeping it civil. I do wish there were more on here like us, in that regard. Have a wonderful day!

ps. I havent checked the link out yet. But I will. I am playing catch up at work. Just an FYI for you. Try and stay dry today.

If it is murder, then I wont have to answer for it. That woman will. The good thing about Heaven or Hell is that you dont get into either place on the merits or demerits of another. The Lord will hold me accountable for my every action I made.

Like I stated, I would never imagine me getting an abortion. BUT, if I am raped and I happened to get pregnant why should I keep that baby knowing the situation in which he was conceived? But you would expect me too?

I can only speak for myself. I would NEVER think I would abort a child. I also know that if I was to be raped and I got pregnant that I dont think I could carry the baby to full term. Rape, molestation, life or death, then YES. But I would never use it as an act of birth control. I am a grown woman and I WILL take care of my responsibilities. As for OTHER women, that is their choice and they have the right to make whatever decision they can live with. It is an individual choice, and that woman will have to answer to whatever higher power she believes in.

Ouch! If that didn't work he must have had it bad. For me it was hearing my mothers smoker's hack every morning to scared me away. I'm glad because for a time I tried to be a smoker in my zeal to be cool.
