Normal is overrated.
I'm a writer, a dreamer and a mom. My kids are not perfect, but I decided to keep them anyways! ;)
My hubby puts up with me. God bless him for that. Any other man would have left long ago. (Just don't tell him where the keys to the shackles are)!
What do I write (since it seems to be a frequent question!)
-resumes and cover letters and web content mostly.
I have an unfinished novel, which will remain unfinished forever, at the rate I am going! ;)

I know what you mean about the guy behind you getting annoyed when you stop and allow someone to get by. I used to deliberately slow down when someone tailgated me but then a guy once got so angry I honestly think he would have killed me if he could have got at me.
I think for me the best lesson was watching people risk life and limb to get by me and then pulling up side by side with them 10 miles down the road thus gaining nothing from it.
