Good Morning OR... I wasn't insinuating in your blog yesterday that you were defending the man who allegedly murdered his dad. I was just saying that i'm tired of seeing some law breaker on the stand and his lawyer using the excuse that he was abused as a child. I am sorry if it seemed that I said it in an accusing manner. I hope you have a nice day.

Don, when I first got married I fell asleep on the couch one night, and my husband, not wanting to bother me, left me there. I woke up in the middle of the night freezing, and totally stunned at his insensibility of not "knowing" I would get cold and cover me up with a blanket. When my mother-in-law came over that morning (she and I are so close it's almost scary!)I told her what happened, and she said:"well, given the fact that he is so hot-natured, he probably didn't assume you would get cold. Men don't have much of a nurturing streak, so they will oblige you if you ask directly for something, but otherwise they are in the dark about your needs." Although I tried to stay mad to "teach him a lesson" I knew she was right. I told him that afternoon that I would appreciate having a blanket thrown over me in the future. I never woke up cold again. Maybe you didn't "read' your wife's mind, but she obviously never opened her mind enough to be read. {{{HUGS}}}

Thank you for your kind words on the blog I did about my uncle last week. YOU brought tears to my eyes. He was buried Sat. and my Grandma's birthday was Sunday. I talked to her and told her "Happy Birthday" and she said, "Oh! You're right! Today is my birthday!" In all fairness to her, they're not celebrating it until next weekend. My dad's is the 15th.

Now...I think my daughter's sheets are dry and I'm going to go put them on her crib mattress, move her, and head to bed. Hopefully. My son had the flu last week and now she has it. UGHH! She has three sets of sheets and mattress pads but they are piled up in the washer and laundry. Just so you know how my weekend has gone...I know you've been through it too as a parent!

Hey Buddy...I have to tell you a funny story!! Years ago there was a winter that I pis**d off my porch pretty much all winter. I went in the same spot...tried to hit the same hole I had made in the snow. You know, the snow gets about 3 or 4 ft deep over the winter. We average about 75 or 80 inches for the winter, but it packs down over time. Well, I went in the same hole in the snow off my porch like I said...almost all winter. Well...comes spring...the snow melts in Apr/May like it does every year....except for this mound of yellow ice!!!! HOLY SHIRT...it is about 3 ft high and 6 or 7 ft around. Well, I get a good laugh as it appears...but that was short lived. It gets pretty warm in May....wouldnt you know...the first day it gets warm...well, you can guess...IT STINKS LIKE PI**!!!! TERRIBLE LIKE PI**!!! I have not done that since then! I still go off my porch from time to time, but I go in different places every time!!!! Have a good one Buddy!!
