It may look different after it dries. And there is glaze. Glaze is easy to apply and it water proofs the walls. It can easily change the "tone" on a green. I used to do faux painting. If you love the shower curtain, I bet you can glaze the walls and make it perfect. Glaze is easy, you can apply it sloppy because it is not supposed to be perfect. And it is fairly cheap. You can mix glaze with your leftover paint to stretch it.
