All I meant to say was that ths country has come together after many heated presidential elections and we will (God knows I hope) come together after this one, as well.
I'm sending prayers and positive thoughts for your husband tonight. I know how you must be feeling, and again, I'm sorry for spooling up the crowd.

When I drove in Germany I had a IDL (International Driver Licence). You can usually get one at AAA. They are the only reputable place I would get one because a lot of places on the internet offer them, but some are scams. Some countries do not need a IDL but I felt it was safer to have one anyway, just in case. The used to be about 20 bucks and are worth the extra effort. Just check with AAA and see if the countries you are visiting are the ones that take the IDL. I know there are some eastern european countries that don't take it and some countries accept your state-issued licence no question.
