Why did the neocons who were dissatisfied with McCain suddenly support him when Sarah Palin was selected as VP? Does that mean that all those who support the ticket because of Palin secretly hope McCain croaks soon after the election?

Why wasn't it done by someone before it was elevated to her office is what I want to know.
The guy was found by his supervisor drinking on the job while sitting in his cruiser.
The supervisor or one of the supervisor's managers should have fired the guy.
