Well, another edition of Decker Does Hollywood this time with Employee of the Month starring Dane Cook, Jessica Simpson and Dax Shepard.
First of all, I was expecting a hilarious movie out of this. Dane Cook is one of the funniest men alive in my opinion. Jessica Simpson is a dumb blonde girl and Dax Shepard is one of the guys from Punk'd.
Ok, plot of the movie: Dane Cook is a lowly box boy at Super Club (similar to Sams Club) who is skimming through his job basically getting other people to do his job for him. Then a new girl starts and he finds out she has a thing for the Employee of the Month, so he makes it his destiny to get Employee of the Month to win her!
Dane Cook has his typical one liners ALL OVER THE MOVIE!! It keeps you wanting to see another 20 or 30 minutes every time you hear his one liners. I give Dane Cook a 5 out of 5 only because he is FREAKING AMAZING!
Jessica Simpson-Hmmm since she only had like 10 lines overall in this entire movie... yea I won't even rate her because I don't think it's worth my time. But since I am already here 2 out of 5.
Dax Shepard-I really didn't think this story would be about him, but a lot of this movie is about him just as much as Dane Cook. Dax was really good in this movie and I give him a 4 out of 5 for his sarcastic type of humor.
For the overall movie, I wanted more dumb blonde girl Jessica and they just didn't give me enough of her. The humor was great in this movie!!! For the sake of ratings:
4 out of 5 stars (and only loses a star because of the lack of Jessica Simpson.
