Arsenal Digital Cracks Latin American Market

CARY — Arsenal Digital Solutions is expanding its reach into Latin America.

The provider of storage management services has struck a partnership with Navega.com, a telecommunications and data services provider in Guatemala.

Navega.com plans to offer Arsenal's managed, network-based backup and recovery services known as ViaRemote to those it already offers to other clients. Arsenals services will be offered through the network access point in Miami known as NAP of the Americas. Navega.com is linked to the NAP through its own fiber network, according to Arsenal.

"Put simply, there is increasing demand for data protection in our market, and Arsenal's turnkey, ultra-reliable product allows us to meet that demand without incurring the capital cost of building and maintaining a complex storage infrastructure," said Willy Paiz, general manager of Navega.com, in a statement. "Partnering with Arsenal enables us to capture new markets and provide a high value utility service. It's a win-win!"
