ATLANTA — Chick-fil-A will use network protection services from Lancope for its chain of restaurants across 37 states.
Lancope will deploy its StealthWatch technology in order to provide the restaurants with behavior-based threat detection. It will augment a signature-based intrusion detection system already used by Chick-fil-A, the companies said.
"We needed a next-generation solution, like StealthWatch, to complement and enhance our existing network infrastructure and ensure information security, which Chick-fil-A defines as confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and resources," said Tony Letts, the information security and network senior supervisor for Chick-fil-A, in a statement.
