Stanford School of Medicine Deploys StealthWatch From Lancope

ATLANTA — Lancope has deployed StealthWatch for the Stanford University School of Medicine, which supports a network of almost 10,000 devices and over 5,000 employees across 30 buildings in Palo Alto, CA.

Compliance with federal and state legislation, including HIPAA, were primary drivers in Stanford's search for an innovative network security solution.

Lancope says Stanford deployed its StealthWatch appliance at a critical segment of its network to detect known and unknown attacks, as well as internal threats such as misconfigured network devices and unauthorized peer-to-peer applications.
