BURLINGTON, N.C. — Honda announced today that the Burlington Alamance Regional Airport will be the site for a new jet engine plant.
The long-rumored deal would mean creation of some 70 jobs with more to come later.
HondaJet, a Honda business unit, will build its small, twin-engine jets at a new plant at the Piedmont Triad International Airport. The $100 million facility was announced in February.
