Morrisville, N.C. — Carol Mills, a veteran executive with several technology firms, has been added to the board of directors at telecom gear manufacturer Tekelec.
Tekelec expanded its board to seven members in order to add Mills, who currently is a board member at Adobe Systems. She also has worked for Juniper Networks, HP, and Acta Technology, where she was chief executive officer.
Mills was awarded 35,000 options on Tekelec stock at $14.99 per share. Tekelec (NASDAQ: TKLC) traded at $14.89 Friday afternoon.
