Research Triangle Park, N.C. — Elsa Abruzzo, an 18-year veteran of the medical device industry, is the new vice president of regulatory and quality affairs at InnerPulse.
InnerPulse is a startup, venture-backed company focused on treatment of abnormal heart rhythms. The regulatory affairs position is a new one for the firm.
Abruzzo worked most recently for ArtiCure, a manufacturer of cardiac ablation devices. She also has worked for Percutaneous Valve Technologies and CryoLife as well as Cordis Johnson and Johnson.
Arbuzzo received a degree in industrial and manufacturing engineering at the University of Miami.
