Research Triangle Park, N.C. — Christina Russell, a former executive at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, is joining the Hamner Institutes for Health Sciences as director of foundation and government relations.
Russell has extensive experience in the life science industry in the Triangle, having served as corporate affairs director at the Biotech Center. She also was special projects director at Cogent Neuroscience in Durham.
A graduate of St. Mary’s College and Mars Hill College, Russell is a native of Winston-Salem.
The Hamner Institutes is a non-profit organization focused on advances in bioscience. It is named after Charles Hamner, the longtime chief executive at the Biotech Center.
